SME Support

The Oxfordshire Small and Medium Enterprise market continues the thrive.

With a new business launched every 2 hours in Oxfordshire, there has never been a better place to cater for SMEs. In fact, Oxford has been ranked the 2nd best city in the UK, outside of London, to start a business. According to StartUps, “the opportunities in the city are virtually unmatched across the globe”.

2015 saw nearly 15% of our economically active population, to be those who were self-employed.  Nearly 90% of Oxfordshire enterprises employ fewer than 10 people, however these smaller businesses are a dynamic element in the enterprise mix. Oxfordshire is a vibrant hub of growth, talent, innovation and connectivity allowing us to develop and grow the infrastructure, expertise, resource and of course the right attitude in our county to work with and help our SMEs develop and grow.

If you are an SME in Oxfordshire, you can expect a wide range of support available, from a multitude of networking opportunities to our experienced Network Navigators, through to workshops created for your benefit.
